Every recommendation in this app is basic strategy: the provably optimal play for every hand, verified against a reference expected-value engine, not gut feel or folklore. Play practice hands at a first-person table with a dealer, get instant feedback the moment you act, and learn exactly why a play is right or wrong in plain English.

WHY BASIC STRATEGY
Basic strategy is the set of mathematically optimal decisions for every blackjack hand, worked out through exhaustive computer analysis of the game's probabilities. Playing it perfectly can't guarantee any single hand, but it is the mathematically strongest way to play. This app helps that strategy become second nature through repetition and clear explanations.

RULE-AWARE, NOT ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL
Correct blackjack strategy changes with the table rules, and this app adapts to match:
- Dealer hits or stands on soft 17 (H17 / S17)
- 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 deck shoes
- Late surrender offered or not

Change any of these in Settings and every recommendation updates to match. The charts assume double after split is allowed.

The Count tab trains the Hi-Lo running count and the true count on cards the app deals, with three drills: card by card, a timed deck countdown, and true count conversion. It is skill practice, like a chess tactics trainer, with no way to enter cards from a real table. Speed Math builds quick mental arithmetic: add up a hand before the timer runs out.
