We love our “Geek Inside”
Today, creating a website is easier than ever , yet most people still avoid it .
Perhaps because we haven’t explored the full potential of technology, or because we believe that “everything has already been invented.” Humans struggle to leave our comfort zones; we cling to what is known, familiar, and safe. And that’s fine; living in our comfort zones has worked for us for thousands of years. But is it acceptable to pass up the best opportunity to reach the world with just one click?
The editors of this site think differently. We believe there’s always room for improvement, for competition, and for demonstrating talent and passion. We believe the fear of failure is just a ghost, a mental obstacle. And, as Michael Jordan said, “I’ll accept anything from you except not trying .” That’s why we at GGD want to start from scratch and earn our authority day after day, post after post.
Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about video games—I’ve loved this digital world for over three decades. In high school (or as we say in Costa Rica, at “cole”), I spent my allowance buying tech magazines and playing at the Internet Café with my friends, or buying consoles “in half” with my siblings and sharing games with my cousins.
I loved reading Club Nintendo, Electronic Gaming Monthly, PC World, among others. Physical magazines no longer exist, but specialized websites, like this one, do 😉
I always dreamed of working as a video game tester or at Blizzard Entertainment. That’s why I studied computer science, and why, today, with over 13 years of experience in technology, I remain passionate about this field. My geeky side has never disappeared, despite keeping it hidden; reading and commenting on geeky stuff has always been a part of me. Every day I consume dozens of news stories on my smartphone; I love reading them with a cup of coffee in hand.
Until one of these days (May 2025), reading a news story, I stopped and thought: “Hey, I think I can do this . ”
Then, I reflected on my nephews. I always discuss technology and video games with them. They’re incredibly smart, talented, and have an advantage I no longer have: “They’re the new generation! They’re the future!” They know trends , they know which game is “breaking the internet,” which technology is selling best, which guide could be made. That’s why they’re the main cast of this work.

If you’ve read this far, you’re already part of our community—100% free.
By the way, you’ll notice we don’t charge subscriptions here. There’s no “Sign In” or “Sign Up” button. We get it: everything seems to require a subscription these days.

Everything comes at a price, and honestly, we’re tired of that too.
At GGD, we only use AdSense because we need to find a way to pay for the website. Makes sense, right? If you know what we mean, we appreciate your support by visiting and sharing our news.
Thank you,
